On April 16, 2025, three brand-new ISUZU FTR foam fire trucks set off from the POWERSTAR factory, heading to Ethiopia. These specialized firefighting vehicles, custom-built for Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, mark a further deepening of the collaboration between POWERSTAR and the Ethiopian customer. As our long-term partner, the Ethiopian client promptly entrusted POWERSTAR with the order after successfully winning a government procurement bid in February 2025, demonstrating their trust in our reliability. On April 16th, 2025, Ethiopian government recently finalized the acquisition of 200 Isuzu FTR firefighting trucks, a strategic initiative to bolster national disaster response capabilities. Designed for urban and industrial fire suppression, these vehicles feature advanced firefighting apparatus, including high-capacity water pumps (3,000–4,000 liters/minute), integrated foam systems, and extendable ladders reaching up to 30 meters. The procurement aligns with Ethiopia’s Urban Safety Enhancement Program, aiming to address infrastructure gaps exacerbated by rapid urbanization and climate-related risks, such as frequent wildfires and industrial accidents.
